Saturday 23rd May - Sydney
Jamilah: Today we got up and went round Sydney. We had different views of the Opera House as a lot of Sydney is built around it. We saw the Sydney Harbour bridge and our guide, Les, showed us that the bridge was held up only by 4 big, round, metal pins - I wouldn’t like to really go over it. We drove around Sydney and at lunch we had a picnic. Then we went to the famous Bondi beach where we saw a rainbow and some quite big waves. The thing that amazed me was that the waves were turning the corned by the cliffs all by themselves - that was unusual. Then we went to the jewellers where Mummy arranged to have her wedding ring fixed - she wanted to have it fixed there because that is why she got it made originally. Mummy had to have an emerald taken out because it had broken and now they are going to make it into a necklace for me - I am really excited.
