The Ultimate Journey
Welcome to the ultimatejourney.co.uk. This site will follow the travels and adventures
of Julian & Julia Ranger and their seven year old daughter Jamilah on their once-in-a-lifetime
epic round the world voyage. It will act as a journal cataloguing every destination
traveled to in the form of blogs and pictures in order to both create a formidable
database of memories and to allow family and friends to track their progress throughout
the voyage.
The journey will take just under two years, and will be split up into eight separate
trips, each with a home 'break' in-between for about two weeks. January 2008 sees
the journey commence with the first trip to the Caribbean and Central America, followed
in March by a visit to Nepal and India , in May China, Tibet and Mongolia and in
July to Eastern and Southern Africa and Madagascar as well as further trips in late
2008/2009. You can see the detail of each trip and the other trips by selecting
